Ten (times two) Haiku on Anticipation©

What is easier

Grumbling or celebrating

How do we get there

Anticipate a

Disaster it’s so easy

Without thought or plan

Anticipate a

Triumph it’s also easy

Without thought or plan

Triumph unfulfilled

Is same as disaster not

Suffered, not our choice

If we don’t control

Then why should we bother with

Anticipation

Anticipation

Is a nuanced exercise

Allows us to learn

The only control

We have is just to accept

That things just happen

If we’re kind and we

Obey religious tenets

Bad things still happen

If we’re mean and we

Ignore religious tenets

Good things still happen

Now you are thinking

What is the use trying

Why care or worry

Anticipation

Has special place in our world

It is acceptance

If bad things happen

Accept it may not be your

Fault, don't lose your faith

When facing a new

Disaster know that it won’t

Last eternally

Move forward for the

Future and do not harbor

Thoughts of revenge/blame

Find value in the

Good things that you have in your

Life as there’s many

Do what is pleasant

For you and your family

And stand for others

Do not be afraid

To set an example of

Good acts/charity

Let others see your

Willingness to pray for their

Well being and peace

Promote those things that

Achieve equality and

Global equity

Don’t be afraid to

Use anticipation as

A positive force
