Ten Haiku On Patience ©

A swatter hovers

But the house fly jumps away

Impatient I curse

Taking a short cut

Off the path I lose my way

Not saving time – damn!

Don’t need instructions

I’m mechanically adept

Why doesn’t this work?

They’re holding me back

Why don’t they see my value?

I must show my worth

They say I’m lazy

If I start to believe them

It’s time to step up

Stretch to prevent cramps

Get your body’s PH up

Envision success

One plus one is two

A quadratic equation

Mathematics rules

When a job is done

There is beauty in wholeness

Avoiding repairs

I am not ugly

I do not like to be touched

I am not stupid

You’re young only once

Maturation needs lessons

Cut the ties to soar
